Lincoln Christmas Market
The world famous Lincoln Christmas Market kicks off on 5th December. One of the oldest and most popular markets around. Please do not try to drive into the uphill area of Lincoln as parking restrictions apply. Why not take the park and ride bus from the Lincolnshire Showground, or better still stay within walking distance at 40 Mill Road! It is a weekend celebration with over 250 market stalls, festive food and drink and Victorian themed stalls. A magical Christmas starts here!
What Is the Thors Tipi Bar?
After a stroll around the Lincoln Christmas Market why not head down Steep Hill to have a break at The Thors Tipi bar? It is the perfect place to quench your thirst while in the centre of Lincoln, located just off the High Street in the Cornhill. A Viking-inspired winter wonderland in the heart of Lincoln city centre, serving real ale, mulled wine, hot chocolate, and grilled cheese – complete with roaring fires, cosy furs and twinkling lights. What is on at Lincoln Cathedral?
The famous Lincoln Cathedral definitely worth a visit at any time of the year. Did you know it was the tallest building in Europe during the Middle Ages? During the Lincoln Christmas Market the Cathedral is open for a donation. Why not visit this amazing building and admire the architecture, St Hughs Choir and see if you can spot The Lincoln Imp!
